Pride Word Art - Inspired by NZ Artist Hayley Hamilton

Our Pride word art is inspired by local Raglan Artist Hayley Hamilton's Monster Ceramics work.  Hayley's ceramic work inspires positive affirmations and promotes concepts of love and family and the celebration of life.  Each piece is individually made by hand and no two pieces are the same.

Room 1 talked about the qualities of Parkvale Pride and what they look like in our classroom and school.  We each chose a word and constructed it with clay.  We then painted and decorated our words.
Please watch our video which depicts us proudly holding our art work.
